Undergraduate History Association hosts inaugural event on abortion through history
Check out this JHU Newsletter article about the recent Undergraduate History Association (UHA) discussion held on October 25th, Abortion: An Issue Through Time Event. The panel consisted of our very own Dr. Mary Fissell and Brooke Lansing, Department of History PhD Candidate and Graduate Fellow in the Center for Medical Humanities and Social Medicine.
The event brought undergraduate and graduate students together with faculty for a roundtable discussion, emphasizing throughout that the concept of abortion is not a recent phenomenon.
