Delighted to announce that Elizabeth O’Brien was awarded a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities Scholarly Editions and Scholarly Translations Program. Along with Dr. Altina Hoti, she will use these funds to complete a translation and critical edition of Francesco Emanuele Cangiamila’s Embriologia Sacra (1751), part of her larger project to broaden the source base for understanding the intersection of theology, embryology, science, medicine, and technology in the 18^th and 19^th centuries.
