Dr Victor Seow, new Assistant Professor of East Asian Science and Technology in the Department of the History of Science has established the new seminar series Asia Center Science and Technology Seminar Series. Marta gave the inaugural talk titled “‘Heaven and Earth are Within One’s Grasp’ (Qian Kun zao wo ): The Handy Mind in Late Imperial Chinese Medicine” which explored issues related to her book project on the history of the body-as-technology in classical Chinese medicine.
