Professor Gianna Pomata will give a seminar at the Institute of Genetic Medicine here at Hopkins on October 21, 2:30 in the Darner Conference Room, G007, Ross Research Building. The title of the seminar is “Does Individualized Medicine Have a History? A Long-Term View”. Gianna’s presentation will look at the history of individualized care in pre-modern medical cultures, with particular attention to the Hippocratic-Galenic European tradition, and a comparative look at Unani and Chinese medicine.
